The
Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) is a partner in the Erasmus + Capacity Building Higher Education [CBHE] Project, Social Innovation for Local Indian and Israeli Communities and Graduate Entrepreneurs [SILICE] coordinated by IDC Herzliya, Israel. The aim of SILICE project is to develop an open source platform that promotes social innovation ideas and international cooperation at regional level between the EU, Israel and India. For the Social Innovation for Local Indian and Israeli Communities and Graduate Entrepreneurs [SILICE], SPPU set up a SinnoLab (Social Innovation Lab) and a ThinkLab at the International Centre, SPPU. So far, a number of experts, students, faculty, international delegates, Ambassadors and Consulates have visited the SinnoLab and ThinkLab, from time to time. The Labs have given inputs to enhance the skills of graduate entrepreneurs. The goal of the SinnoLab is to reach out to the graduate entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds. SILICE project has been an ideal platform for the young entrepreneurs of SPPU to showcase their innovative minds. The vision of SinnoLab is also to focus on the development of latest concepts and practices, strengthen research culture so that the civil society can be strengthened and thus the innovative aptitude of the young graduate entrepreneurs will be enhanced. The SinnoLab aims to enhance problem solving skills and to create unity of intellectual framework beyond the disciplinary perspective, with the help of social innovation.

The International Centre, SPPU puts in continuous efforts to disseminate knowledge and information related to Social Innovation and entrepreneurship to young graduate entrepreneurs of SPPU, by organizing various workshops, lectures, events, fairs, discussions etc.
