Equal Opportunity Centre
Savitribai Phule Pune University has established an Equal Opportunity Centre and SC/ST Cell in December 2024 according to the UGC directives in order to address unique challenges faced by the Disadvantaged
groups and an effective and transparent redressal of their grievances. Recognizing education as a critical tool for achieving social and economic equality,
this Centre seeks to ensure equitable access to and participation in higher education for all and promote initiatives for the same.
The centre is coordinated by Department of Women and Gender Studies and the members of the committee include:
